The British sculptor Sir Anthony Caro has passed away at 89 after a heart attack. He worked as an assistant to Henry Moore and is considered to be the greatest sculptor of his generation.
On the BBC News website here you can view a video of him talking to Will Gompertz in 2011 about Early One Morning a 1962 sculpture that changed the face of art.
While googling for some videos on YouTube I found this lecture given at MOMA New York to coincide with an exhibition “Anthony Caro on the Roof April 26 — October 30, 2011”
and this is a short video of him talking in July 2011
