Sir Giles Gilbert Scott

I decided to do some further research in to the Architect who designed Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral that I have written my report on for a Visit to a Gothic Church.

I knew a bit about ‘Sir Giles Gilbert Scott‘ but was surprised to learn how young he was when he was given the commission for the Cathedral only 21 years old.  He also designed Battersea Power Station in London and the iconic Red telephone box.

His Grandfather ‘George Gilbert Scott’ was also a prominent architect in the 19th century who designed the Albert Memorial in London.
